Never heard of magicka-studio?

Magicka is a an art group of talented designers from around the world all creating art following a certain theme which we call Events. Each event has a deadline and the artists can submit as many pieces as they want. When the deadline comes, all work created gets released on the site to be viewed by the public.

What's up with magicka? *new*
Magicka-studio.com is temporarily offline and has been for quite some time. We will be coming back up online at the end of July. The site was taken offline by the web host due to unpaid bills, only the founder/owner is paying for the bills which is costing over £30 ($60) per month but also had no job in the real life (Also considering that the owner is a student) - but now I have a full time job, so bills will be paid. At the end of July, when I get my pay.

Magicka V2.5 *new*
A new magicka studio has been developed over the past month or so. This includes a whole new layout and new coding, but still using the same database and tables, so no information will be lost, all user accounts will remain intact.

This new layout will be released and tested on the server when the bills are paid. So the site won't be straight back up, but we'll be up within a couple of days of testing and fixing any bugs.

You can find some screen shots of a live demo of the new magicka running on a local server set up on the hard drive (running apache2.2 and the latest versions of PHP and MySQL Server). On behalf of all magicka staff, we give our thanks to *BboyWicked who created the design. ~dotsilver did all the development (xhtml, php, mysql and css).

We still have the forums to re-do, this will take some time since this will also be re-coded just like the rest of the site already has. So we'll have to be using the last version of the magicka forums until the new version has been completed.

We are not accepting any applications at this moment for magicka, we're only doing personal invitations. But you can stick around the forums on magicka-studio.com and show off your work and get involved in helping the community side of magicka if you would like to be considered.

----------- Artists Rules -----------
All staff of magicka must abide to these rules

These are the rules of being an artist at magicka-studio.com - so if you are an artist or thinking of becoming a magicka artist then make sure you know them.

1. Respect all artists and their work, no flaming.
2. Current event is confidential to the artists only!
3. Art works are confidential to the artists only!
4. They are only confidential until the event has been officially released.
5. Breaking the above rules will result in a warning, and second time demotion.
6. You should have at least the magicka logo on your work.

Expanding from rule 3, this means that art works are not to be uploaded any where apart from magicka-studio.com until the event is released.
